The End of Seven at Zero-Seven

I again had the chance of watching a UAAP game live, and this time it was a match of UST against De La Salle University yesterday 4 pm at the Araneta Collesium.

At first, UST had a good lead, but at the second and third quarters, DLSU's score left UST behind. Fourth quarter came, and we all thought we were going to lose, with the given fact that UST was down by 10 points, but lo and behold, a 69-69 tie ended the quarter. The De La Salle gallery's shift from loud cheers to a saddening silence was evident, as UST dominated the 5-minute overtime.

I only learned last night that DLSU actually reigned over UST whenever they had an encounter in UAAP for the last seven years. Finally, it was over.

The drought has ended. Black gold! Black white! One for UST.
